Opinion
The 8.9″ screen fixes one of the few problems of the Eee PC 701 and brings the resolution up to something most people would regard as a minimum for Windows XP. There is a minimal, almost undetectable difference in the size of the overall device.

Product Notes
The Eee PC 900 is a larger screen version of the 701. It is due to launch in mid-April for 399 Euro. The web cam is slightly improved, the mousepad is larger and the memory is 1Gb. The screen will add some drain to the battery and this is expected to be in the order of 5-10%.
